Hello All,
I am a US citizen, and I want to sponsor green card for my sister. My sister was born in 1953 and unfortunately she does not have her original birth certificate.
I do my original birth certificate with my mother's and father's name.
I have following questions:
1. Is it mandatory to submit original birth certificate for my sister?
2. Can we submit any alternate documents for 'proof of relationship'? My sister has her original passport, which has our parent's names.
3. Do we need to attest the photocopies of any documents that we submit? For e.g. my father's passport etc.
4. Documents that should be submitted in such cases.
5. Any other helpful pointers that your can refer to.
Thanks.
