Advice Needed: I864

I am filing I-864 for my parents green card and have the income to support them (over 125% poverty line). But I started working from Dec 2014 (8 months now) and my tax returns for 2014 (joint return with my husband) does not reflect that I had any salary. I am planning to submit all my pay stubs for the past 7-8 months as proof of Salary. My husband does not want to file I864A unless absolutely necessary. My 2 brothers are also cosponsoring I864. My question is , 1. Do I still have to submit Tax returns for 2014 or just my pay stubs will be sufficient. Pl. advice. Thanks

Yes, you could submit your pay stubs, job letter etc.

On the other hand, you could send the 2014, tax transcripts, just as proof you didn't work, yet filed with your husband.

As the Sponsor an explanation of why you didn't work, to be able to file taxes, is expected. Hope this helps.
