Time takes for medical and interview

Hi,

We are dealing with NVC which is a worst experience we have ever faced. After a sequence of long follow ups they have confirmed on phone that your case has been reviewed. You and your husband will receive an email within a week.

As per my understanding only two steps are left those are medical checkups and interview.

Can anyone please share that how much time these two step takes if positively we get email after a week?

Once NVC review your documents and make sure that your file is complete. Then NVC notify the US embassy and request for an interview date. (This process can take one to two weeks)

Once US embassy issue an interview date,then NVC send you appointment letter for interview. And normally they give you at least one month time to prepare and medical before the interview. (Let's say that they send you appointment letter today, then most likely your interview date will be some where in the last week of OCT,2015)

Hopefully you will get your appointment letter soon.Good luck.....

we have requested Nvc to expedite the case already and received this response. Can you please interpret and let us know if we will be getting any time benefits or still it will take 6 weeks.

Your request for the expeditious processing of this immigrant visa petition is currently under review. You will be informed of the results when the review is completed.

I was waiting eagerly to complete 30 days waiting period of NVC to review my documents.

On 23 September i received a mail from NVC which states below:-


"All documentation necessary to complete the National Visa Center's processing of your case has been received. As soon as an interview date has been scheduled, the applicant, petitioner and attorney (if applicable) will be notified."

I am clueless how many more days they need to schedule an appointment.....

This is as usual statement send by NVC when your immigration document completed. If your PD is current then you will eligible for interview date. Otherwise let it to be wait until it becomes current. To expedite your file, they will assess your all documents.
