I'm from the Philippines. My fiance is a filipino US greencard holder. We are getting married next year 2016 so he can file a spousal petition for me when he gets back to US. I have a 17-yearold daughter and I believe that he can also file a separate petition for her as her stepchild so long as we get married before she turns 18. The problem is, we're getting married September 2016. My daughter will turn 18yo on October 2016. By the time my fiance gets back to US, my daughter is already 18. Can he still file a stepchild petition for her? Please help.
