Affidavit of support for F2A
Hello all,
I am a Green card holder and my wife is currently waiting in France for her priority date to become current. We however want to take steps and started to fill out the next documents that NVC will be asking us and in particular the Affidavit of Support.
Concerning the Federal Income Tax Return Information (FITR), Part 6. 18.a. I am above the limit so there will be no problem to prove that I can support my wife. However, since I became a LPR 01/01/2015 and started working in the US in April, I do not yet have a tax return from the IRS. So I do not have the last 3 years of FITR. What document should I provide to the NVC to prove my income? Should I call the IRS to have some sort of official document ?
