Hi, I am a F-1 student from a third-world country (none of those countries with long wait time). If I marry a green card holder in the US, how long do I have to wait to get a green card? I checked the visa bulletin and the wait time for F2A visa is 17 months only. Does that mean that I have wait for 17 months to get current date and apply for green card? Do I still have to go through a live green card interview (the one you do when you marry a citizen)? Thank you so much for your inputs in advance.
