AOS Submitted - No notification e-mail received from NVC

Hello

I have submitted the $120 fee and also sent the AOS package with all the required documents to NVC a couple of weeks back.

However I have not received any e-mail notification from NVC stating your document have been received and will be be processed in the next 30 days.

I got a similar e-mail when i added my wife and child as dependents on the F4 case , and within 20 days i have my spouse and child's name reflecting on the site.

I have the option to pay the $325, however i am not sure if I need to pay that now or not.

Current status is

Affidavit of Support Fee - PAID
Affidavit of Support Documents & Financial Evidence - N/A

Does NVC send out a e-mail notification once the receive the AOS package or do we have to just wait.

Please let me know if anyone else has the same experience. Looking forward for your response.

My PD will be current in the next few months.

Hi,

Well NVC do send notifications in most cases,but some time they forget as well.

So if I was you,I would call them and check on it over the phone.

In my opinion, In order to Expedite your case it would have been better, that you would have paid the AOS and VISA fees and send I-864 and other supporting documents together.

Anyway DON'T wait any longer and pay the visa fee. After that start DS 260 online and then send the supporting documents to NVC ASAP.

Honestly I really don't know the answer,but NVC doses charge $120.00 for AOS.

There is a FEE for AOS and you probably paid for it. It's called AOS fee, it's around $120 currently.
