Hello everybody,
Id greatly appreciate if somebody could please shed some light on this matter.
My wife took the citizenship oath 2 days ago.
I want to file for my Green card. Both of us are living in USA now.
However, we are planning to travel to India in January 2016. I heard that the application gets adversely affected if the spouse travels outside US after the green card application is sent.
Whats the best way to do this.
1)Should we wait till we come back to USA from India in February?
2) Should we file i130/i485 together and also file for advance parole.
3) Should we just file i130 and travel to India ; come back and file 1485
