Hi.
The petitioner in my case is on retirement receiving Social Security benefits, besides the standard one there are also Supplemental and State additions since the income is low. How do I count the petitioner income for the Affidavit of Support? Should I include only the Standard Social Security payments earned from work, or should I add the Supplemental and State payments as well? On the yearly statement from Social Security there is only the Standard one included. A joint sponsor will be used anyway because the income of petitioner in all cases is below the line.
