Hi, I am married to US citizen, wanting to know what my best option is for me to move back with him?
I am wanting to work as soon as I enter the US, we also have a son together. My question mainly is? Should my husband sponsor me while we are out of country, or is it quicker to adjust status inside US?

If it takes about 8-10 months to be petitioned and get a spousal visa, compared to obtaining a temporary Work Authorization if having status converted while in the U.S., It seems that the latter is the quicker way, by several months.
