    Hello,

I have filed for my sister (F4) I-30 petition. Our approval was within 6 months after filing.

Before she turn 21 we got welcome letter and visa fee invoice and her name was there. We paid visa fee and filled DS-260 and submitted other paper work before she turned 21. She turned 21 and now we are waiting for visa interview.

This month (May 2016) there was no changes in priority date. It seems they will retrogressed, possibly as early as June. We are waiting for priority date to become current.

Question : Will she be safe at this point as visa fee is paid and DS-260 filled out regardless when priority becomes current?

Please reply as soon as possible.

Yah, she should be fine. She will get an interview appointment just like the whole family.

So even though that 6 months buffer passes (CSPA purpose) and still priority date wont be current, she will still get a visa interview and visa because visa fee is paid and DS-260 is filled? We are all restless at this point as we hear different things from different sources. Some says when priority date becomes current that time if she will be over 21 (after CSPA calc) then she wont get visa. Some time we hear that as long as visa fee is paid up and DS-260 filled before 21 she will be fine..so confusing but your reply makes us happy and gives us some hope.

When the processing date starts at NVC, her CSPA date status is put on freeze, so the final determination will be made by a person who will interview the family in an embassy. For now, the only advise I can give is she will go to the interview and see how things come out.

Petition filed date 1 Sept 1993
Received Welcome letter from NVC on 21 october 2016 and they ask for submitting DS-260 and civil documents .
But my name & my sister name were missing in letter /mail .
My date of birth 20 June 1984.
My sister date of birth 28 August 1991.
So under CSPA ACT what is my position and chances of getting approval ???
And do we need to wait the consul toapprove it or NVC should sent us IV fee invoice ??

                  When will receive Welcome letter

Hi, my case priority date is April 2006. The visa bulletin shows F4 current date (table A)is March 2005. I would like to know about what time we will receive the welcome letter?
Another question is back to 2006, a law office helped me submit the application, will the welcome letter go to the law office?
                  Thanks and appreciate any feedback!

                    Help

My aunt filed for F4 visa for her brother (my father). My mom, me and my brother (currently in Canada on hid student visa) are derivative candidates. My aunt was asked to pay IV fee for all the derivative even after me and my brother being aged out biologically. Is this CSPA automatically analysed by NVC or do we have to ask them review the case for CSPA? I think me and my brother both qualify as per CSPA age according to CSPA calculator. Is paying visa application fee make us both eligible to fill DS 260 automatically and appear for interview along with my dad and mom or do we have to seek some other ways too?

                    details:
*My brother DOB is 30/Sept /1993 and my DOB is 25/Jan/1995.
                    *PD: 26 AUG 2005
*21 July 2010: received our letter saying you will be notified when further consideration can be given to processing your application for immigration on
                    * Asked to pay Fee on Dec 2018.

                            I need help!

So my uncle petitioned my mom on April 10, 2001. As you know she fell in category F4 (Mexico)
*at this time i was 8 years old

on October 5th 2005 her i130 was approved
                            *i was 13

as of today we are still waiting for that came to become current. I just checked the NVC and it shows that the priority date is July 15,1998.
*i am now 27 years old

does anybody know if the CSPA will help me adjust under my mom knowing that i have aged out? I now have DACA which possibly going away
