  • 4 months - system error - Greencard not received

Any idea on the greencard process?

    Issue:
    - Came to USA in August on immigration visa, but so far the USCIS website doesn't show any update. It just says that there is a system error when the tracking details are entered.
    - Contacted USCIS local office twice. In last visit they put inquiry on the case but no progress even after that.

Is this a unusual? It has been 4 months and still not able to track the status of the greencard.
Is there anyway to determine if anything is blocking the process?

    Any inputs will be appreciated.
    Thanks.

This is not usual. Do they have your correct mailing address? You can make infopass appointment.

      Yes tried that too

Yes we contacted them twice. For the first time they provided the tracking number which is showing error of no attachments found and second time they placed inquiry on the case mentioning that USCIS will only contact if there is anything missing with the file. We have neither received any communication from them yet, nor we are able to track the application.

In that case I will suggest that you should consult your US Congressman and US Senator offices and they might be able to help you in this regard.

        Good Luck...
