HI
i have a question about initial evidence under criminal history
Here is my case:
I am under a student visa f1 and applying for my greencard now because I was married months back. On my 21st bday, I had 5 long island and got drunk, I took the university shuttle back to my apartment but I vomited on the shuttle after I asked if the driver could stop because I felt sick and he said no. He called the cops and the ambulance, even after I said I was fine and I could just walk home because he stopped right outside my apt building. The cops came and asked me what happened and took down my student ID and check my passport to check my age. I signed some papers from the paramedics and they let me go home. 2 days later i received an email from the uvi student conduct office stating :
I am writing to inform you that the office of Student Conduct received information that you have been
involved in a potential violation of the Student Conduct Code (Revised May 2013). This potential
violation occurred on: mm/dd/yyyy. Due to the nature of the alleged violations (listed below) you have
been assigned to a Campus Conduct Conference. Based on your class schedule you have been assigned to
meet with me
The Student Conduct Code has been established for the well-being of those who are part of the University
Community. The Conduct Process has been established to insure proper due process for any student
accused of violating the Student Conduct Code. The procedures for the Campus Conduct Conference
begin on page 11 of the Student Conduct Code
Alleged Violations:
F.01.A.08. Public Intoxication
No person shall appear in a state of intoxication in a public place or disturb the peace in any manner while
intoxicated.
So i went to tell my side of my story saying that it was my bday and I had alittle to much to drink and i felt ill. The person said that they wont press charges and let me off the hook and I should be more careful.
Do i need to get a statement from the arresting agency or something, from who? and how?
ANother question :
under evidence of eligibility
I am UNDER STUDENT VISA F1. what letter do i send them and what if i dont have the letter?
I want answers and instructions to go about this on my own and Please dont answer with "ASK A LAWYER or GET A LAWYER" No lawyer answer please, it will be ignored.
Thanks.
