  • currently on H1B, married a US citizen - i am seeing mixed details on forms

    Hi team,

i am currently on H1b and working in a company. i recently married a US citizen. i am trying to apply for my family based immediate relative green card for spouse. can some one please help me with what are all the processes I should follow?

i am seeing there is I-130 and I-148. what else should I do to keep my H1B valid until my green card is available and will be able to travel back home.

    I really appreciate the help.

You need to file I-130,I-485,employment authorization form I-765,G-325 form for you and your wife and MAY file advance parole form I-131.

You may file these forms together. If you choose instead to file Form I-765 and/or Form I-131 separately after July 30, 2007, you must also submit a copy of your I-797C, Notice of Action, receipt as evidence of that you filed a Form I-485.

USCIS fee total fee for all these forms is $1,070.

    Good Luck.....
