A green card holder mom living in the US applied an I-130 for her son who lives in Serbia and who was under 21 years old by the time she applied and got the petition approved. Now the son is waiting for his priority date (April 30, 2015) to become current (F2A category) which looks like a visa won't be available until he is past 21 years old with some months. Does that mean he will fall out of his category (F2A) to F2B when a visa becomes available if he's past 21 years old with some months?
