Hi there,
A year ago I became a naturalized citizen and when I file for a citizenship I did not put my son's name in the N-400 form and didn't make him registered. The reason was, I did not know I have to fill his name since he is not in USA. My understanding was just to file I-130 separately for him.
But now... my friend is telling me that I should have filled my son's name in my N-400 application otherwise the I-130 application I am filing now is not going to be approved.
How far is this true? Does it really affect the approval of the I-130 that I am applying now?
looking forward....
