Timeline I-130

Hello, can anyone tell me how long it takes from the moment your I-130 has been approved (approval date 2015-11-24) until you get your visa? My husband has already left my kids and myself are still waiting for the nvc to contact us.

Time line

It seems to be different for different people. We have been waiting 6 months to hear from the NVC. It was weird as approval was 12 days and then we were told the info was being sent to NVC in Texas. We heard nothing more, checked with them and they said to wait 5 months before contacting them which put us in the Holiday season. On Dec. 29th we received notice they were sending the paper work on to the NVC in NH. We are told to wait 30 days to hear something which will be the end of January. So all in all we haven't even heard from the NVC yet. I have other friends that filed afterwards and within 2 months heard from the NVC. They were doing exactly the same thing bringing in a spouse. So it may take a while.
