Hi I have a joint sponsor for my wife and I wanted to ask about the evidence needed. I know they need a copy of a birth certificate but if they submit a W-2 do they also need to submit the tax return papers too or just the W-2 form? Also my second question is if they submit a pay stub do they only need to submit the most recent pay stub? I appreciate any help and answers.

1. 3 years of tax return
2. recent W2
3. Make copies of I-864 depending on how many individuals you are sponsoring. For example if you are sponsoring family of 4, send 4 copies of I-864
4. Proof of US citizenship, so if you were born in US, US birth certificate, or copy of naturalization certi or passport copy
5. This is not required but it helps, "employment verification" letter from your employer stating, how much you are earning, your position in the agency and how long you have been working there.
