A few questions regarding I-130

Hello everyone,

Here is my case:

-I have a french passport (born in France)
-My wife and my daughter are both US citizen
-We currently live in Dubai but we will be moving to the US on the 1st of March 2016 (as a french citizen i have a 3 month visa waiver)
-We started the I-130 process
-I already received the USCIS approval

-We contacted NVC and we started the 6 steps process (we are waiting for step 2)
Step 1: Choose an agent
Step 2: Pay fees
Step 3: Submit visa application form
Step 4: Collect financial documents
Step 5: Collect supporting documents
Step 6: Submit documents to the NVC

- We only have 37 days before we move to the US and it seems that it is not enough time to get an appointment with the embassy here.

So here are my questions:

- Can i buy a one way ticket to the US or must i buy a return?
- If i need to buy a return, must it be to the same destination (i.e. Dubai-US and US-Dubai) or can it be to another destination (i.e. Dubai-US and US-France).

- What will happen if i didn't get my embassy appointment by the time we leave? I suppose i will have to update my address and status right?
- Once I am in the US (waiting to get my green card) can I get someone to employ me (and get a temporary work visa)?
- What will happen if i still didn't get my green card before my 3 months visa waiver?

I am a bit nervous about all this... If you have any answer please let me know
