I am 31, single, have an 8 year old who is a US citizen because of birth in the states, and 2 younger kids who are Filipino citizens.
I first went to the US when I was 15 back in 1989, my mom petitioned me while she was still an immigrant.
I got my greencard there weeks later and lived there for a total of 7 years and worked about 6 years.
I've been here in the Philippines since 1998 and have not returned to the US. Now I want to live there again.
What's the fastest and best way for me to go back?
I've read about returning resident visa, will I qualify?
The reason I overstayed here in the Philippines is because I fell in love with a married but separated man, he didn't tell me this but found out later.
I have an American boyfriend now, can he petition me as fiancee?
Will my being a green card holder before make it difficult for this?
Or should my mom petition me?
My American citizen son goes back and forth from here to the US but will be staying there with my mom to study.
Also, I do not have my old passports anymore with proof of being in the US and green card, I think my ex is hiding these from me but won't admit to it. I've tried my best to locate these but I really can't find them. I do know the numbers of my cards though.
Please give me advice on what I should do, thank you.
