My son has filled an I-130 for me (his father) to get a GC. While filling the I-130, we did not include the mailing address. We included the residential address here in UAE. Unfortunately, the UAE post office does not deliver to residential, but only to mailing addresses (eg. PO Box). My son and I are both living outside the USA.
We have not received any documents from USCIS. The latest online update states that the case is approved (27 Jan 2016) and was sent to NVC.
How can I change my address (Call USCIS or NVC)?
And how can I make sure that the UAE embassy can get in touch with me on-time for the interview?
Is the notice of approval required for us to be received and required during the consulate interview when contacted?
We called few times the USCIS, some say that we do it online (the online system does no allow for international addresses to be entered) others recommended for us to send an email. Still we have not received any documents so far.
