Hello,
I would appreciate if somebody gives me some light about the following. My children's GC expired in 2011 while living abroad and I didn't renew them. I am back to the US and was advised to apply again for them. In the I-130 form I have some questions :
- Should I put the social security number they had when they were living here?
- Should I enter the alien registration number they had before ? According to what I was told their GC are not longer valid since USCIS consider they abandoned their status.
- Section D, part 2 asks if I have ever before filed for an alien petition for my relative. They were filed an alien petition long time ago when the company I worked for filed a petition for me and my family based on employment. I mean , it wasn't me the one who filed it but the company...should I anyway enter "yes" here?
Thanks ..really appreciate it.
