Hi everyone,
I have been working in US for past 2.5 years on H1B. My wife is working here for past 1 year.
My Parents can apply for their green card through my sister who is a US citizen.
Before applying for the GC we want to know what things we should keep in mind.
The most important thing which comes in my mind is the:
1. Medical Insurance: Looking at the medical costs in US, this is the biggest thing to consider.
My father is 69 and my mother is 59.
I don't think they can work. Even, if they can, I don't want them to work at this age. I don't think even they would be happy doing it.
Please let me know what other factors should i consider as well If we are planning to apply for their GC.
