Helle Everyone,
I filed a I-130 for my wife and 2 kids. When I completed the I-864, it was mid 2015 so I only had my 2014 tax return. I submitted that and my most recent pay stubs (2015). My wife went for a interview and she was told we needed a joint sponsor and my 2013 tax returns. However, since the start of 2015 I now have enough income above the minimum requirements (I was hoping the pay stubs will show that). I have my 2015 return and W-2 which proves that. Can my wife go back and ask that they look at my 2015 return instead? How come they have not asked for the 2015 return.
Thanks in advance for all your help.
