    Overseas travel while I-130 pending

    Hello:

    A friend's parents came to visit the USA on a multi-year tourist visa. He is a US citizen, and after they reached here, he decided to do a concurrent filing (I-130/I-485) for them.

    Can they travel overseas and came back on their already-existing tourist visa while the I-130 and I-485 is pending? Or are they stuck here while the I-130 is pending?
