I-130 Timelines

Hello There,

I would like to hear your experiences on I-130 timelines. I had applied for my sister and her family in January 2014. Should I be looking at the Processing times on USCIS page with the service center where I filed the application from? How accurate are these timelines are? for example, currently it says may 17, 2011 from California service center. Should I assume that I would hear something in next 19 months? USCIS website was last updated in February 2016 with data from December 2015.

Sharing timeline

8/12/2008 USCIS received I-130 F4 visa category
8/15/2008 receipt received I-797c notice of action
12/31/2009 received a transfer notice (case was transferred from VSC- USCIS NBC)
3/12/2010 received approval notice. case was sent to NVC.
4/26/2010 NVC sent a letter with Case Number

case is now pending.. waiting for visa availability which may be in 03/2022
