Affidavit of Support Question

Hi everyone,
I applied for the immigrant visa for my relatives and just got the letter from USCIS that the petition is approved. I need to submit the sponsorship letter/affidavit of support to proceed with the visa processing.
Can you please tell me if there is any time limit during which I need to submit this document? What if I am not able to submit the letter and how long they wait before the case is dropped?

You have up to one year to deal with the NVC requriements.
