I-864 Checklist
Hi,
My mother petitioned my unmarried sister (F2B) Philippines with priority date April 7, 2005. My mother received an email checklist from NVC stated that written statement required for no income tax was filed due to retired & received unearned income such as social security benefits. I was the joint sponsor and my other sister also filed I-864A for household member. We are both resided together along with our mother. My questions as followed:
1) What should I do about this?
2) She did not file I-864. Does she needs to file one with no income tax return stated? Does she needs a written statement included? Only myself and my sister filed I-864 & I-864A respectively.
3) My sister who filed I-864A needs proof of relationship with the sponsor which is myself. Is Birth Certificate should be okay for myself and my sister stated we have the same mother's name. Photocopy or original?
