Hello,
I am an principal applicant for F2A visa, and my father petitioned I-130, after a long wait and bunch of other stuff, we finally received an email from NVC stating that our case has been transferred to the US embassy and we should wait for an interview appointment, however my father is quite worried that he doesn't have enough income on his Affidavit of Support form and that they might delay my visa or worse, we do have a joint sponsor who is eager to sponsor me but we want to wait it out. Is it possible that the consulate might give us a pass and give me the GC? or are the chances more likely that I might get a temporary refusal? We were hoping that if there was a problem with my fathers income the NVC would notify us before sending it to the consulate but since that didn't happen we were thinking that every thing was fine. if it is possible we would like to not wait anymore since time is kinda short for personal reasons.
Really would like some insight on this issue.
Regards,
