Cancelling Family Immigrant Visa Application. Any Future repercussions?

While the visa application was in process few years ago, we had applied for tourist visa to attend cousin's wedding in US. We were denied the visa by the officer giving the reason that our immigrant visa application was under process.

We dont want to pursue our immigrant visa application as we dont want to immigrate to US now. So, we have cancelled the application last year.

If in coming time, we apply for tourist/business visa for visiting a relative in US or for tourist/business purposes , is there any possibility that we would be refused tourist visa primarily because we got the application cancelled when we had the opportunity to travel to US ?

Visa officer will not reject non immigrant visa based on your immigrant visa application cancellation.
