I-130 + I-485 Confusion
Hi,
My family (Parents+Sister) got green card when I 22, so I couldn't get green card because I am over 21.
Now I am 26 and my parents living in USA for 3 years and I am staying alone in my country. I submitted I-130 form 1 year ago but when I learned the wait time is 7 years, I didn't continued the process.
Today I found I-485; I couldn't understand exactly the purpose of the I-485 for my situation, If I go to USA with my tourist visa and submit the I-130 and I-485 at the same time and if they accept that can I get the green card without waiting 7 years? Am I right?
or
I have to leave USA in 180 days because I entered with B2 tourist visa and if they accept the I-485 can I stay until priority date became current for the I-130?
