  • Documents status after submitting to NVC

    Hello forum members,

Hope you all doing well. First time posting and thank you this forum for some great information.

I have completed AOS (Affidavit of Support) and DS-260 (IV Application). I've also submitted my AOS and Civic Documents to the NVC.
I called the NVC and they said they have received the package 7 days ago. It will takes them 30-45 days to review.

The question is: why does the status on ceac.state.gov is still showing: "N/A" for AOS and Civil Documents. Should it be "Received" ? It would be odd if the only 2 status for it is: "N/A" and "Completed", which I hope not.

I called NVC for the query above and they said: it will change after they review it. What is everyone's experience in this?

    Best Regards,
    N

Yes it take atleast 30 days for NVC to review the papers. So the case statues will change after the review. After the review if NVC dont find any mistake in forums or any thing is not missing ,then they will send you a interview date.
