Hi,
I petitioned for my younger brother back in December 2015. I received Notice of Action (I-797C) on 12/18/2015. Now I received Notice of Action (I-797) on 03/30/2016 stating my Petition has been approved and sent to NVC, New Hampshire.
I'm going to contact NVC because my name (Petitioner Name) has Typographical error.
Would anyone please help me with What is the next steps after receiving NOA2?
FYI: My brother is only 19 year old. So how long it takes him to come to US?

Well now days NVC is processing the cases for those who have applied in July,2003. So base on this you are looking 13 years waiting time at least. NVC will start the next process a year before your brother's case becomes current. At that time you will have to pay AOS fee,visa fee and then will have to submit I-864, your and your brother's ORIGINAL birth certificates and rest of the supporting documents as well.

I am still trying to get to grips with all of this but if s per the previous response the wait time is say 12 years etc ...and as your brother will then be over the age of 21 would this not have an impact when your file/turn finally comes around?? just asking as i am aa little confused how someone who is presently under 21 when petition files then turns over 21 some years later before the file comes live

The over 21 age cap will apply to sibilings kids, but it does not apply to US citizens sibilings directely. And even for the sibilings kids you can use CSPA,depending when you file the 1-30 and when it gets approved.
