  • RE: CSPA - Urgent further advice required for 'AGED' Daughter

    Hello
firstly, thanks for the help/advice i have received on my other postings. As this is a different topic i thought i would start a new questions as opposed to merging with a previous one.
Until late afternoon today i had no idea that my eldest daughter could have been included under CSPA( currently excluded from all our NVC filings apart from she was on the original petition) had 'AGED' out and so i accepted this thinking that was it ... when the original petition was filed she was 11 years old ...She is now 22 yrs and 10 months..
I am now aware of CSPA and from the research carried out it seems that she fits the criteria!!!

I could do with knowing the following please...

    (1) Who should i write to and very strongly query this as we would like her with us in the USA
    (2) Is there a good sample letter i can send
    (3) I am a little disappointed that the US immigration would not have advised us of this....or is this the norm???

    many thanks

Is your file currently processing at NVC? Have you sent in all supporting documents such as sponsor, police clearance etc to NVC? If so, you can send a letter to NVC requesting them to investigate your daughter's situation since she may qualify for CSPA.

many thanks- yes, since my post i have sent a letter to NVC..my only real confusion was that if beneficiaries of the applicant are eligible then why did they take my daughters name off the petition that my parents made for me...
Anyway- will now see what happens
      thanks
