How to sponsor parents?

Hi,

I am a green card holder and live in Boston. I am thinking of applying for citizenship and then applying for green card to my parents. Does anybody have an idea how long it takes to get citizenship and then get green card for my parents? My parents tourist visa was rejected 2 times, will it have any bearing on their green card application?

1. Citizenship takes anywhere from 6 months to 1 year.
