Hi i just received my i 797 and my finger prints are done last month . Meanwhile my husband is constantly abusing me physically and verbally .He is threatening me that he will cancel my green card .He has stopped supporting us financially. Though he doesn't want divorce he is not ready for counseling too. I am completely down with his constant threats .I have two kids.Please kindly suggest what to do next .

You should contact your local police as well as a women's domestic help advocacy group for your physical abuse.

Your husband cannot cancel your green card; he has no power to do so.

Abuse is NEVER ok, under any circumstances. If you can prove that he physical abuses you ,you can file under the spousal abuse

First, local police; you may want to keep any evidence of physical abuse.
Then an immi lawyer.
