My dad is a US citizen, even though our lawyer said I'd automatically become a US citizen and also the woman at the USCIS office after 2 months of living in the us and waiting for my citizenship certificate I received a green card for 10 years instead. Why? I already applied for an N600. What do I do?

Yes any child of a USC automatically becomes an US citizen, the day they enter US on a immigrant visa if he or she is under 18 year.
If you still under 18, the easy way will be for you to ask your dad to apply your US passport in your local passport office. You have to submit a copy of your birth certificate, your original green card, your parents marriage certificate and your father's original US passport or citizenship certificate with your US passport application.
Since you already applied N600 then you will get your own citizenship certificate as well.
Good Luck....
