us citizen needs help

hi i'm a naturalized US citizen for a few years if i have a child abroad will that child be considered a us citizen

the answer is depend on the age of the child.
if the child is under the age of 18 he/or she becomes a US citizen immediately and all what you have to do is to file N-600 Form.
if the child is older you have to petition the child Form I-130 which takes long time "about 5 years or more" to give the child his/ or her Green card.
