Awaiting Visa interview date F-4

hello,

My PD is 23AUG2003. we have completed our case and got the case complete documentation reciept. NVC sent us the email on FEB15,2016 stating 60 days period. we will receieve interview date.. As the period has passed and we still haven't heard back from them. But now i see with new bulletin for june the date retrogressed. What should we do? Should we contact congressman office? thank you for help.

F4 category is on hold

F4 category cap limit for fiscal year 2015-2016 is completed or nearing completion - New fiscal year start on 1st October 2016- so F4 category moved after that - that means 4 months F4 is on hold - per website.- this is just for information. Thanks

Thnaks for the information. Do you think when the new quota of visa comes i.e october 1,2016. They will start from retrogressed date (1Jan01) or the one which was on bulletin for may 2016(22July03).?

no, they start which date was on hold ie. moved after 07/22/2003

I have simillar case ! Should we expect 2003 PD back after october 2016? My PD IS sep,2004 as i am in usa i keep my eyes on dates for filling ! Which is may 2004, can i expect my PD will be current by next fiscal year ? Appriciate if you can reply!

hey , dhruv u dont worry i have the similar case too. we also awaiting for interview and NVC sent email on 16th june 2016 and our PD is 23rd may 2003. Just wait for new fiscal year and let's see what happens next.

I am in same situation My Priority date is 16 DEC 2002 and we had interview on 26 May 2016 at mumbai consulate but due to my mother medical problem (Principal Applicant) they did not take interview now medical is cleared and report is sent to mumbai consulate.

Mumbai consulate sent email that your visa process in on HOLD due to the retrogression.your case will be processed when priority date become current.

So how much time it will take for 16 DEC 2002 to become current ? or they will provide visa when they new fisacl year i.e OCT 2016 (annual visa limit is available) ?
