    Dear Sir/Madam,

The National Visa Center (NVC) received all the requested documentation for this immigrant visa case. The applicant is now in the queue awaiting an interview appointment overseas, where a consular officer will adjudicate the applicant’s visa application.

NVC schedules appointments one month in advance. The U.S. Embassy or Consulate General tells us what dates they are holding interviews, and NVC fills these appointments in a first-in, first-out manner. Most appointments are set within 60 days of NVC receipt of all requested documentation. However, we cannot predict when an interview appointment will be available.

Hi, Shrudh, You don't have to worry as your file is current and all process completed - just wait for interview file hold after 07/22/2003.

Hi JPP and all forum members,

Can you please advise me if my F4 file with priority date of 8th May 2003, would receive Visa call/interview or would NVC transfer my file to Bombay, India?? All the required documents for my file were received by NVC on May 23rd, 2016.. I would really appreciate if you can help me? I am really frustrated as USCIS has back dated the F4 category on June 1st!!!

I understand your frustration. NVC will schedule the visa interview and send your file to Bombay. NVC will also let your agent know the date of interview. You will have your interview in Bombay Consulate.

You will be consider for interview when your PD will become current. So keep an eye on VB that when it will happen again. if it is more then one year then you have to submit again PCC and medicals if done and your documents will be treated as in complete at that time.

I received the below letter on 30 June 2016 for F4 file with priority date of 8th May 2003. Not sure if Bombay would schedule interview for us or not?????????

For Interview Letter Sequence is like this:-
                  1) First they will see that case is complete or not.
                  2) Then they will look at VB that PD is current or not
                  3) Available interview slot at corresponding embassy according to first in first out as per case complete.

For you they will see your file again when your PD will near to become current again.
and if for any document which will be expired at that time will required to be re validated (new).

I am in same situtaion.....my aunt filed for my family under F4 category on 16 dec 2002. we have interview on 26 may 2016 but my mother is PRINCIPAL APPLICANT and she did not passed in medical examination and she have to undergo with sputum test.
my mother is not allowed to enter US consulate office and we (me,father, brother) have attened interview but they did not take interview without my mother (PRINCIPAL APPLICANT).
they told when we recived the medical examination report of my mother then you have to schedule interview date.

Now F4 category date is retrogress to 01 Jan 2001 so we have to wait for Octomber month visa bulletin... at that time USCIS will provide new visa for F4 category........there is no chance before Octomber month for Visa Interview
