Hi immihelp forum,
I searched the forum but I couldn't find the answer I was looking for.
I'm trying to apply my wife for green card, but I don't have the necessary income to sponsor her affidavit of support. My parents told me they would but this year their income fell below the poverty guideline and they told me they would use their asset to offset the gap. My question is since they are sponsoring my wife. Can the assets be 3 times the gap instead of the 5?
