Missing naturalization certificate

Hello,

I am a current H1-b visa holder, working in the US for the past 8 years. I have been using my I-140 to renew my visa so far. I recently got married to a naturalized US citizen and we are now trying to file for my I-130/I-485 through marriage. However, my wife's naturalization certificate seems to be missing and she has applied for a duplicate but the current wait time is almost a year, which is too long. Are there any alternatives to this wait? (Can we use her US passport instead to file for my I-130/I-485?)

yes, US passport is also a proof of US citizenship.
