Hello everyone,
My husband is an American born and raised and moved to Canada last year as a permanent resident sponsored by me. (I'm Canadian born and raised)
We have been married a couple years now and are talking of settling in the states after our children are hopefully born in the next couple years.
I'm a bit overwhelmed looking at the mounds of forms and titles and such regarding immigrating and just wondering if someone could point me in the right direction.
Currently we are both living and working full time in Canada and plan to complete a couple of Masters Degree's before moving back to the states. ($2,000 a semester here VS 7+ there) I know because he is not currently in the states it makes things a little harder.
What forms do we need to fill out?
What documentation do we need to provide?
Is there any set of websites we should be looking at?
Is there a 'kit' to help out?
When immigrating to Canada the Canadian government provides you with a checklist and plenty of step by step documentation, is there an equivalent for USA immigration?
I appreciate any advice or information.
Thank you.
