my adjustment of status denied due to USCIS civil surgeon negligence to complete i693
My I485 got denied as it was negligence from USCIS doctor who did not complete the i693 form part 5 syphilis findings he forgot annote even after the USCIS sent him RFE to resubmit . I had to postpone my travel to India and also now i have to again refile or reopen the case. My attorney says he cannot expediate the motion to reopen and we have to just follow the process and file for motion to reopen , can i not expedite this case, i and to travel to india on July 5th and i feel bad to postpone my dates again as i have a son back in india who has not met me from past one year due to this process. Can i not file motion to reconsider , is it not USCIS error as the surgeon is USCIS ? please help me guys .... my husband thinks the attorney is right but there should be some simple way to fix this issue instead of reopening ?

I have the same case. Error by the civil surgeon at part 5.
Did you refile the whole AOS package? How long didnyou get your ead and ap after the refile?
I refiled sept 25. Prior to the initial decision on the i-485, we had a valid ead and ap and bought airline tockets for december 2, 2016 already.
