Needed sponsor whenl filing, but enough income at the time of interview. Sponsor?

Here's what happened;

Marriage based GC

Filed November 2015. Wife's (USC) income was based on 2014 tax returns, which didn't meet the criteria. We needed a sponsor.

We got the interview date - June 2016. Interview letter says bring W2 and tax returns for the "most recent year"

Based on today, "most recent year" is 2015. Wife's income MEETS the criteria for 2015.

Would we still need a sponsor?
