Hi,



I got a couple of questions.



my wife and I are Canadian citizens. she's also Colombian.



my sister is a US citizen

her sister is a US citizen



both of them are older with health issues and because it could take 12 years I'm worried if we applied under 1 of them and they died our application would to.



so would it be okay for my wife to apply under her sister and I do the same with mine? I'm sure everything will be fine but I read a couple of stories of people waiting 10 years and their sponsor dying.





also,during the wait can we enter the US for a vacation?

can we also apply for an E2 visa during the wait for the green card?

Your sister can file for you. Your wife's sister can file for her. Not a problem.

You can visit the US.

You can apply for any other visa that you might qualify for.
