I'm travelling overseas visiting a friends family to attend a wedding for my friends cousin and overheard a conversation they were having. My friends cousin received their U.S citizenship sometime during the past few years. This cousin recently met "the bride" who is in the U.S on a student visa. Her family has agreed to pay my friends cousin $30,000.00 U.S.D to marry her and help her gain her green card.
They married a few months back and are now overseas having their "Wedding". They are very open about it and have openly mocked the immigration process and how easy it is to milk money out of it. I was originally planning on keeping it to myself but then I became aware of some more details.
The plan is to get her citizenship and then she'll collect federal benefits while sending money back home. I also became aware that direct family of the cousin who has married her is already doing this with their federal benefits.
How to proceed from here?
