Family based Greencard application Rejected and NOT Denied.
Hi
I filed for I130 and I485 application concurrently for my parents. I sent in different packets for my father and mother. I sent it to the USCIS PO box in Chicago, IL office.
They received them on 17th and its been more than 10 days and we have not received any receipts. I know that they have not cached the checks as I looked in the bank statements.
I called the USCIS office and found out that the applications have been rejected and a reject notice will be sent out. Here are my questions:
1. Has anyone had a similar experience and can share how it got resolved?
2. Will they return the whole packets back to me?
3. If anyone had this experience, how long did it take to get the rejection notice and the packets back?
