I-360 vawa

Hello,

Im a self-petitioner for i-360 under VAWA (Violence Agianst Women Act). Eventhough i prepared all the documents,accumulated the evidence and wrote the self declaration,i could not find any information regarding the correct ORDER.
I dug out some old threads on the forum using the search function and i found that I-360,I-484 & I-765 must be filed concurrently . However,when i spoke to an attorney ,she mentioned i cannot file I-360 and I-485 together,also she wants to charge me $3500 to handle my case. lol
If someone can let me know the correct method to file I-360 ,it would be much appreciated .

was ur abuse based on physical or emotional?

these lawyers i found the hard way will tell u anything to get ur money! i wasted $1900 on a lawyer filling for vawa. he refused to give me back my money because what he will do i can do myself.

VAWA is very tricky it depends have u gotten ur conditional green card? if not how long have u guys been married.

My story is both physical and emotional . I have not filed anything with the immigration,i have been married for two years and never filed for green card for obvious reasons.We are still married. I tried to fly back to my country but im helpless.so i decided to file for I-360. I have gathered all the documents for I-360 within next week i will be filing it.

My understanding is that since i have not filed an I-131,I-130 and such with the immigration i CANNOT file I-485 concurrently . Therefore i have to wait untill I-360 approval for an adjustment of status.

what a monster!! as long as you have all the evidence and police report, i would file it myself but u need to have uscis send it to an address u trust
