If I have joint sponsor that filled affidavit of support do I need petitioner sponsor

Hello,

I got married 6 month ago, my wife and I are filling together for my immigration process, My wife she is the petitioner and I am the beneficiary. We also need to file I-864 Affidavit of support, my question is my wife still needs to file for Affidavit if my Brother which is a US Citizen and lives here 20 years already filled for Affidavit for me as a joint sponsor?


My wife can't sign for affidavit because her annual income is very low. In the other hand my brother annual income is very high around 250,000

yes she still need to sign one, if she don't file tax u need to write a letter stating that with all supporting doc. they will over look ur wife income and focus on ur brother. my husband income was super low but i still had to submit it because he paid taxes.... i only submitted 2013 and 2014 year i didn't even submitted the right paper work. uscis just overlooked it and focus on the joint sponsor.
